A free online chromatic tuner pre-configured for standard ukulele tuning (gcea). The default re-entrant tuning for soprano, concert, and tenor ukulele. The tuner uses your microphone to detect pitch — audio is processed locally and never uploaded.
How to tune to Standard Ukulele Tuning (GCEA)
Open the tuner using the button above and allow microphone access when prompted. Pick the matching instrument preset (it should already be selected when you arrive from this page). Play one string at a time; the meter will tell you whether you're flat (left of center) or sharp (right of center). Aim for the green 'in-tune' indicator within ±5 cents.

Tips

Is my microphone audio uploaded anywhere?
No. All audio is processed locally in your browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing leaves your device.
What reference pitch does this tuner use?
A=440 Hz by default. The full tuner lets you switch to A=432, A=442, or Baroque A=415.
Can I use this without a microphone?
The chromatic detection requires a mic. You can still use the reference tone playback to tune by ear from a known pitch — useful when the mic isn't available.
